finally some meds...

Today I took Conner in again for his nasty cough and congestion that he has had for over a month. We got to see my favorite DR, Mrs. V. Of course she put him on a antibiotic and also Zyrtec for a sinus infection. He still had no fever though. He weighed in at 19 lbs 1 oz!! He is getting so heavy ;) I had taken him in twice for this cough, but the other DR just said it was nothing. I am soo glad we got Mrs. V this time :) Hopefully, he will be better in no time.

So, the other day Conner looked at Jeff and said 'Da-Da' then turned to me and said 'ma' :) It was the cutest thing ever!! Now, today he said 'ma-ma' numerous times and also 'ba-ba' which I am thinking means bottle, since he has them now. He is growing so fast and exploring so much! He loves to climb on everything now, even his toys!!

WHOA...

I am so excited to say that Conner officially is weaned! I am so proud of myself for making it this long with breastfeeding. I am just at a point now, where he is getting too strong and has way too many teeth :) This morning he slept till 530 AM so I figured I should try a bottle of formula since I knew he was hungry. He took the whole thing!! I was super excited! I hope this last and I can not wait to feel FREE again!! I loved the bonding time with him and knowing I was giving him the best thing I could, but I am over it. And mommy must be happy for baby to be :)

1st Valentines Day....

Today was Conner's very first Valentines Day :) We just hung out at home all day until dinner time! Sooo Cute ;)

We left around 4 PM to go to this new place we had gift certificates for, it was called Seafood Kitchen. We arrive and it is a Seafood diner!! No big deal, but Jeff said lets go somewhere else. I refuse to take my wife out on Valentines Day to a diner!! SO we ended up going to Ragtime in Atlantic Beach which is one of my favorites. It was very yummy, as always :) I got the pecan encrusted salmon with a holindase sauce with veggie medley and Jeff got Tuna, which I tried and it was not bad served with rice and beans. It was a great dinner and Conner was an angel, as always.

After little man was in bed, I bought strawberries and Candy quick to have chocolate covered strawberries, we had some champagne (which we never opened!!) and rented a movie, Couples Retreat, which was a great movie :)
