Conner's Very First Christmas.....

Conner was really into opening gifts! He loves ripping the paper and then tasting it :) He would through it after that and ripe a new piece and do it all over again!!

He would get so excited when he saw a new toy underneath the paper :)

Rolled over...

I heard Conner waking up this morning, so I finished what I was doing. He stopped making noise, but I still went in to check on him. I found him flipped over playing with his mobile! I can not believe he rolled over all by himself!

He is almost here....

Today I went to the doctor, again. I am 75 % effaced and 1-2 centimeters dilated. It's good news he is progressing on his own. Although we still have 10 days to his official due date, I believe he will be coming a little earlier. The doctor said it could be tonight or next week. It is hard to tell.

I go back next Wednesday, 6/17, if I do not go into labor before then. My doctor is on vacation, of course. If I do not go before 6/22, I have an appointment with my doctor @ 10am and she said I will be going that day.

Please say a prayer and keep Conner and I in your thoughts as I am very scared. I just want him and I to have a healthy, happy delivery and of course not too much pain!

Today I had my doctors appointment for an examination. I am 30% Effaced and almost 1 cm dilated. He is about 7 lbs or a little under right now. If I go to my due date, he will be 7 1/2 lbs. The doctor guesses I will go right before or around my due date.

Yesterday and today we painted the letters for Little Man's room. It was a task itself, but the end result turned out really well. Each letter had an animal on it somewhere. Of course there is a turtle, and he is my favorite!

We decided to go with three colors that were in his bedding his most. I think we made a good choice. It gives the room some color other than green and brown.

I love it!

Jeff failed first test.....

Tonight Jeff and I were in Conner's room getting things ready. I decided to show Jeff a diaper and ask him how to put it on.
Jeff took the diaper, tuned it around,& stretched it out.
He then said "the part with the Velcro goes on the front of him, like this."
I chuckled, grabbed the diaper and said "No, it does not Jeffrey."
Jeff grabbed the diaper back saying "Well, I do not think it matters which way you put it on!!"
I am dying laughing at this point grabbing the diaper to show him the proper way.

Needless to say, Jeff failed and got a F on diaper training.

Oh man, do I have my work cut out for me!

Baby Shower...

My baby shower was Saturday May 9th @ 1PM. It was everything I thought it would be and more! Thank you Lyndsey, Claudia & Jenn. You three did an amazing job. I loved all the decorations and the food was outstanding.

Conner got so many gifts! thank you to everyone who came.

The cake was yummy, from Publix. Thanks Claudia.
