New Swing...
Conner loved the swing at Uncle Ken's & Aunt Melanies house. I thought he would never have a swing because we have no room in our backyard due to the pool. Babies R Us had these for BOGO, so my friend and I went in on them, so it cost me $15!!! Jeff hung it from our patio.

9 month check up...
Today I took Conner for his 9 month check up and shots. He gained 7 oz in 5 days!! He is 19 lbs 8 oz and int he 35th percentile for weight and is 29 1/4 in long (Dr said not very accurate since he would not hold still!!) and in the 90th percentile for height :) I measured him at 30 1/2 in, but the Dr wins :) He is doing well she said. He is gaining weight and right on target with everything else. He only got one shot and his finger pricked for lead & something else, can't remember!! She also said his back molars look like they are starting to swell a little :( OUCH!! She wants me to start giving him more formula. I make 6 oz bottles now, and she wants me to start making 8 oz bottles to see if he will finish them. She feels that him waking up screaming the past two nights is due to a growth spirt. He did gain 7 oz in 5 days :) CRAZY :) His right ear had a little bit of clear fluid, but nothing to worry about. She wants me finish the antibiotic she put him on last week.
He is still army crawling all over the place. He now just crawls to get to a place that he can pull up to stand. He loves our bar stools to climb on :) It is kind of scary, but that is how they learn I guess. He LOVES the pool already. I walk out back with him and he instantly wiggles out of my arms and crawls over to splash around. If I would let him go, he would definitely go head first into the pool!! We are working on getting a baby barrier fence soon, I want one, I just have to talk Jeff into it. He has 8 teeth still, so he is getting a little break for once!! I am guessing he will have 12 teeth before he is a year old :) He is doing great on bottles and formula. I felt as if formula was 'poison' but I soon realized that its not, and it is the second best thing to breast feeding.
He talks and babbles up a storm. He says 'da-da' the most, then 'ba-ba' & 'ma-ma' very rare!!! He loves the bath and now pulls up to stand against the tub and beats on it while I get his bath water the perfect temperature. He just started to stand in his crib when he wakes up about 4 days ago. Thank goodness I got Jeff to lower the crib about a month ago :-)
My favorite change this month would be how much his hair has grown. It also is starting to curl in the back :) I am super excited for this because my whole family has stick straight hair! He gets it from Jeff :) When Jeff was little, he had white blonde hair and a mullet of curls in the back ;-) so cute!! I believe Conner will have it as well.
Conner now does 'so big' and lifts his arms, and takes his fists up to his mouth and makes noises by moving it ;) It is very cute ;) He also waves bye-bye, when he want too ;)
Daisey and Mya LOVE their little brother!! Daisey & Conner chase each other around the house and Dasiey just keeps barking at him to keep playing. Mya has gotten better, she actually allows him to touch her and then she kisses him and runs away :)
The time change has really messed up his schedule this week. My goal is to get him on a strict schedule again and then we will go back to church. We have not been to church since his baptism because I feel I am not ready to put him in the nursery. His nap time fell right when church started, so I never wanted to interrupt his nap either. Now with the time change, I believe his nap time will change and allow us to return to church as long as I am ready to leave him in the nursery. We also have been talking about finding a new church since ours is 30 mins away. We will see ;)

Gate River Run....
Today I ran my very first race, a 5K!! It was awesome ;) I have been jogging around our neighborhood 5 days a week to get ready for it. I believe it payed off!! We did great :) Can't wait till next year, as long as I am not prego ;-)
